Although
not from the South, but born and raised in Massachusetts, Marc has
been a true Southern Rock fan for 25 years. In the summer of '83,
Marc was 10 years old when he first got handed a Lynyrd Skynyrd
album (Pronounced). From that day on he was hooked, heavily influenced
by the strong vocal performances of the late Ronnie Van Zant.
Marc
was a part of a few acoustic duos in the past as the lead vocalist
and has also spent some time in the studio recording original songs
for a songwriter/guitarist. Although this was good experience, he
knew he wanted to be part of something bigger. After taking time
off after the birth of his daughter (a future SB backup vocalist),
he decided he wanted to get back into the music scene.
Once
moving to New Hampshire, he was introduced to guitarist Jim Brennan
and drummer Don "Magoo" McHugh. After a few jams together, he knew
this was a good fit, and this was his chance to be part of something
great. As the youngest member of Southern Breeze, Marc (a.k.a. The
Kid) looks to his seasoned band mates for guidance and advice in
the music biz.
